Dr. Jennifer Walinga

I am a Professor of Communication and Culture at Royal Roads University, a Researcher of human performance and capacity building, and Owner of Integrated Focus Consulting. I work with individuals, teams, and organizations to improve their performance using the integrated focus process. Academia.edu profile.

I have been an educator for over 30 years with experience in experiential, adult, and international education (BA Brock University, B Ed University of Western Ontario, MA Leadership Royal Roads University, PhD Organizational Studies University of Victoria). Currently, I am delivering Leadership through Sport development training to High Performance Sport professionals, athletes and organizations.

In designing performance and coaching interventions, I blend research and theory from organizational, educational, and sport psychology and draw heavily upon my experience as a member of Canada’s Commonwealth, World and Olympic gold medalist rowing teams (1983-1992). I am a mother of three and an active member of the community of Victoria, BC.
